Purpose

Delta Sigma Pi is a professional fraternity organized to foster the study of business in universities; to encourage scholarship, social activity and the association of students for their mutual advancement by research and practice; to promote closer affiliation between the commercial world and students of commerce, and to further a higher standard of commercial ethics and culture and the civic and commercial welfare of the community.

About Us

Delta Sigma Pi is a co-ed professional business fraternity in the United States of America. It was founded on November 7, 1907 at the School of Commerce, Accounts and Finance, New York University, New York, New York and is currently headquartered in Oxford, Ohio. The Fraternity has 192 active chapters and colonies with over 216,000 initiated members.

Candidates for membership in Delta Sigma Pi must receive an invitation to join from a local chapter, complete an orientation program, and demonstrate a willingness to perpetuate the ideals of the Fraternity. Members may be men and women of all creeds and colors engaged in the study of business or related fields. Cross-membership in Greek social fraternities and sororities is permitted.

For over 100 years, Delta Sigma Pi has encouraged, supported and shaped the professional goals and personal aspirations of thousands of members. It is quite simply the foremost professional fraternity for men and women pursuing business careers.

Professional Experience

Every year, wide-ranging activities involve members in project selection, strategic planning, budget development, promotion, and project implementation. Measurable results provide students with reality-based lessons and valuable business insights from which both student and community can benefit. Members participate in company tours, alumni panel of speakers, career fair resume book, interview and resume assistance, and various speakers and workshops by prestigious companies.
