"Although I am a District Director from the Northeastern Province, I was instantly made to feel welcome in the North Central Province. Exposure to Deltasigs from other parts of the country takes on a new meaning when you travel beyond your provincial borders. From now on I will strive to recruit brothers to attend not only their "home" provincial events, but also to seek out Deltasig events all over the country." -2005 North Central LEAD Provincial Attendee 10/11/2005

"I recently attended a conference in Albuquerque for my job and had the pleasure of meeting the brothers and pledges of Gamma Iota. This Chapter took care of me from the moment I arrived in Albuquerque. From taking me to a campus wide community service project to playing golf with the pledges, this chapter was a great host. They are a creative and driven chapter and I am glad to have met them. I would love to go to Albuquerque again, just to be around this chapter. The brotherhood within this chapter towards myself made me ¯ a stranger to them ¯ feel like I had known them for years. " -KJ Foster, Huron Regional Vice President 11/4/2004

"I sat in horror and fear when I saw the events of Tuesday unfold. I sat in worry when I couldn’t find out if my family and friends in New York City were alright. And I sat in awe, filled with renewed faith in human nature, when I began to see my Delta Sigma Pi brothers begin the e-mail chain to find out if everyone was alright - offering whatever it took to console and assist those of us who might be in need as a result of the tragedy. I saw e-mails from collegiate chapters across the country offering their condolences and prayers - from people we have never met, but brothers just the same. When I joined Delta Sigma Pi, I believed that the Fraternity stood for success. I thought that Deltasigs were successful because of their political, professional, and commercial savvy. I thought that I was joining a group that aimed for success and achieved it. And I thought these were the things that defined what Delta Sigma Pi stood for... After witnessing the events and communications that have transpired, I now understand that the defining character of Deltasigs - their compassion and immediate and unselfish willingness to assist their brothers in need - is what separates us from the rest. It is the daily exemplification of these characteristics that makes “the world a better place because we dwell upon it." -Bob McNeill, University of Buffalo Initiate and Alumni 12/6/2001
